I was fat. In 7th grade, I peaked at 215 pounds and only being 5'6". I realized I needed to lose some weight and get healthier. It wasn't easy, I was so lazy. I didn't really know much about lifting at the time, but my sister offered to take me to the gym at her high school and have her strength training coach teach me how to lift. It was about that time I began to watch WWE (I know its fake, I was still only 12) and saw how big John Cena was. Although I had no intention of ever going over 200 pounds again, I wanted to be big.
There are so many reasons to love working out. Firstly, because it is healthy and good for you. Second, I like working out because I know it is something I am good at and I take pride in that. The other reasons I enjoy working out are: great way to stay in shape, its something to do (especially if you live in the kind of town I do), push myself to succeed, its like a natural high, progress, and its a great way to stay in shape.
