October of 2013 I had to undergo surgery to remove my gallbladder. At that time, I realized that I needed to stop worrying about taking care of everyone else in my life and start looking out for myself. In doing that, I began eating cleaner, slowly getting more fit, and finally in the beginning of 2014, making the gym a place of happiness and peace to help me work through good times and bad. Now that I have a base for muscular endurance, I want to aim my goals at strength training and beyond!

Working out is my happiness zone. No matter how tough the day or circumstance, I can walk in to the gym, work out, and leave feeling amazing. There isn't much in life that equates to that!
