I used to be very fat. We're talking about 92.7 Kg, with little to no muscle. I hated myself, my body and the way everyone treated me. The other kids always used to pick on me for being fat, girls avoided me and made fun of me. I've cried so many times, and felt very bad... so I decided I had to change my life. I first started avoiding soft drinks (May, 2012) about 5 Kg in two months. Then in October, a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go to the gym with him and start training, and so I accepted. It was love at first sight. I loved (even more now) the feeling of having sore muscles the next day. I started training 5 days a week, and did total body for the first two. I kept on studying about training and nutrition, followed the most hazardous workouts I could find on the Internet, tried lots of different diets. I've lost a lot of fat since than and packed on some good muscle, although I'm still very far from having my dream body. But my motivation keeps on rising. Each day, I am stronger and better looking than the one before.
I love Bodybuilding because it's rejuvenating for the body and the mind; having a nice body not only makes you look better, but also feel better, be more healthy and be more confident. I can't imagine myself not working out in the future, and will let my kids train too!
