Just sort of fell into it after high school. I was always athletic but never set foot in a gym. In University I had a free gym membership and decided to use it. Now I work out to practice what I preach and feel good, healthy and strong.

My job is in wellness and health promotion, preventing chronic disease through the 5 pillars of wellness: nutrition, exercise, be tobacco free, mental wellness and injury prevention. Making safe and healthy choices is the number one way to prevent chronic disease, and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
