I've never been happy with my physical appearance and in January 2013 I started one of these 12 week body transformation things - what a waste and it made me very negative about working out.
I stopped in April, got married, bought a house and life just happened.
I then realised that I'm 38 and if I want to get the body I've been dreaming of since my teenage years, I better start working on it now. So in September 2013 I made the choice to start exercising again, but I'm not on a 12 week transformation. I'm eating clean and I'm working out in my home gym.
Even though I haven't seen any dramatic changes, I hope to accomplish my goal soon! I just find that there are many people out there willing to support and give advice, even companies that make money out of people like me that want to look and feel better, but they always keep something to themselves. It is as if they are willing to help up to a point, the moment you might sound like you want to compete with their physical appearance, they loose interest and never communicate again.
I hope this site is better!
I don't love working out, somedays I even hate working out. BUT I'll never get a muscular body if I'm not going to work out.
To me, working out is a means to an end and I've made the choice to make it a lifestyle until I can never pick up a weight in my life again!!!
