I was in HS when I started, 12th grade. I had worked out off and on when I was younger, but I had no idea of what I was doing, how to do it correctly, and no idea how important diet was. I've always been tall and and a "skinny-fat", and one day i got tired of hearing about how skinny I was. I decided that I wanted to walk down the street and people notice me for muscles, instead of just being tall and skinny. And I also decided that I was tired of people in HS who thought I would never change or make it in life. I would like to thank them especially, because as stupid as they could be, they are great motivators.
Oh man, where do I start? There's nothin like the feel of being pumped after a hard W/O, and the confidence boost it gives. It makes you feel better about yourself, and it gives you a feeling of success. Plus, the girls like it, and you get stronger in everyday life, so people are like "whoa dude, you just lifted that like it was nothin!"...lol.
