Grew up as the fat kid in school, got tired of it, plus, the doc started getting on me about my weight, so I decided to lose fat and gain muscle to look and feel good. I didn't realize how far I was until I was working out consistently for a few months. I started off at 260 lbs and a 48 inch gut and I got to 200 and 36 in the summer of 2019. I am now 222 and my measurements are now chest: 43.5" waist (at navel): 37.25" 14+ inch biceps it might be 15 but I forgot since it's been at least a month since I measured. That's after my winter bulk and I'm gonna get back down to 36" for summer then bulk again.
Working out makes me feel good, and I have loads more energy than when I was 16. I don't get made fun of (partly because I left my hometown so I don't have to see the kids who did make fun of me), and getting pumped up is just a satisfying feeling.
