I decided after this last year and everything I have been through that I owe it to myself and my two girls to get fit and be healthier. Today was my first day and even though I struggled I am loving it because I know it will be worth it in the end!

I am just getting into working out since I have suffered from two herniated discs in my lower back since high school. I had back surgery in July of 2011 and finally in January was told by my doctor that I could start working out and I decided to do Jamie Eason's Live Fit plan. Weight lifting doesn't jar my back like other exercises and I will just have to do fast paced walking for my cardio and hopefully eventually I can get an elliptical as it doesn't jar my back at all.
