I always played sports in high school but never got serious about working out until I was in college in 2005. I was introduced to BeachBody and started out with Turbo Jam. I went on to complete and use other programs such as Chalean Extreme, TurboFire, Insanity, P90X, and P90X2. It was with P90X and X2 that I really understood the importance of building muscle and what it can do for your metabolism and overall physique. A few months ago I was looking for a workout program to use while I'm at my local gym and stumbled upon this amazing website. I did Jamie Eason's program for 6 weeks and have transitioned to Doc Stoppani's now as I have entered into the 6 week Cellucor Challenge! Both of these programs have been amazing for me, assisting me in overcoming hesitation in lifting heavy weights and going to the "Boy's side" of the gym without flinching. Excited to see where all of this can take me!
I love working out for many reasons. The release of endorphins and that high is amazing after a great workout. I love feeling strong. Being strong makes my everyday life easier as well. Staying toned also keeps me looking young. Not to mention I feel and look great in my clothes! Going through the experience of transforming your body and reaching your goals is the ultimate reward.
