I've worked out on a casual basis on and off for the last six years; and have done yoga inconsistently for the last 10 years. In April 2014 I had a sudden cardiac arrest. I had a defibrillator installed and did a six week rehab program with physiotherapists. Beyond that I've decided that working out is a way of life and one of the few things I can do in order to be healthy and live a long and happy life.

Exercising makes me feel good and it's a great escape, where I get to spend quality time with myself. It helps me keep motivated and focused and clears my head.
