I was sick of feeling heavy and inactive and being sluggish. Like everyone else I "knew what to do": eat less, move more, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. A friend told me that there was a great special going on at the gym back in February 2012. I said sure I'd check it out. The next day I signed up and started with my Personal Trainer a little while later on March 10, 2012.
I discovered I'm pretty strong! I love lifting heavy and seeing my endurance grow. When I first started out back in February I literally could not do ONE PUSH UP. My lungs were burning after 10 minutes on the elliptical. I loved the idea of becoming active and fit, but at the time it was just an idea, a hope that one day the weight would just start falling off with no effort on my part... But now, after putting in some serious work at the gym and in the kitchen I feel like I can do anything! SADLY, I have hit a serious plateau at the moment and need to completely re-evaluate what I'm doing so I can start seeing results again. I have lost 50 lbs and 12% bodyfat up till now. My goal is to lose another 10%.
