My story is like that of many others: I was a skinny kid. I was the typical ectomorph with one desire: to pack on some lean mass. When I was younger, I was fascinated by the physiques on the covers of fitness magazines, and these types of physiques became something I began to aspire towards. In the beginning, there was a lot of trial and error, a lot of suboptimal programming, and proper nutrition was hardly existent. However, over time, the path became clear. I began to compete in powerlifting and achieved a 400 Wilks in the 83 kg class within my first 2 years in the sport. Near the end of 2016, I decided to take my physique progress just as seriously. I hired a coach and began prep for my first men's physique show. Now, the goal is to be athletic and aesthetic. And while I've been training for years, this is only the beginning.
My favorite thing in life is the pursuit of a better self - athletically, professionally, and spiritually. Nothing makes me happier than getting 1% better every day, and the gym is a wonderful way to make that happen day in and day out. Training pushes my limits physically and mentally, constantly testing me and giving me opportunities to redefine what my body is capable of. To me, the gym is opportunity - it provides all the necessary tools to grow as an athlete and a person. That is why I train.
