I was always really active in high school. I opted JROTC over Physical Education (Gym Class) because it seemed more challenging, I joined the dance team, and I was on the Raider Team (kinda like a combat team) also. After high though, I began to slack off. I got the 20 lbs syndrome upon entering college going from a slim 119 to 140 within a span of a few months! Then, I was introduced to a USMC Recruiter. After words I got back on the exercise track and lost the 20 lbs I had gained.... then I got stationed on Camp Hansen Okinawa...right at the bartown known as a Kin. Needless to say that over the 2 year tour I did there, I gained back that 20 lbs, plus some and it steadily grew worse after that. I've been beating back the pounds ever since- and let me tell you it has not been easy. Some people say their weight changes like a roller coaster, mine has been like a stroll through a hilly plain... barely able to get more than a 5lb change, but I'm not giving up. I will get down to at least 130 eventually!!!! After all, I hate giving up :)
I like working out because of the adrenaline rush I get afterwords. Even if it's just a fifteen minute crunch session, I seem to always get this natural high that makes me feel great! Why smoke weed when the natural thing is better XD
