I started working out and lifting weight when I was 14 and did it incorrectly for about 10 years after that. Then almost 3 years ago when I was training for a marathon I herniated discs in my back and began experiencing sciatica. Since then I have been injured on and off sometimes for months at a time. I have also been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and have experienced a couple of periods of times where my body did not respond to medication. This past November after 5 months of being injured and not working out and many months of gaining weight from my thyroid dysfunction I finally turned things around and have been working out and transforming my body ever since!! I lost 35 lbs going from 185 to 150 and then in the past couple of week have fallen off my nutrition plan and plateaued a bit and so I am looking for some motivation and accountability to help my lose the 9 lbs I gained back and then lose 10 more!! More importantly is my body fat goal of 18%. I look forward to utilizing the bodybuilding.com community to help me do so!!
