I've been an athlete pretty much my whole life. Sport has played an intense role in my life both physically and mentally. I have always been conscious of my health and trying to take care of myself . I was a competitive gymnast and soccer player in my younger years, but then as I hit high school I switched my entire focus to soccer. That was what my whole life revolved around, and the only other sport I continued was Track and Field because by being a sprinter it helped me maintain and improve my speed and endurance. I moved on to play Division II soccer through college, and did pretty well. Since then I have been on again and off again with my dedication towards both my diet and exercise. I hope to find my competitive edge again with working out because that is what I miss the most about playing sports. Sticking to the program is my goal and that is what I am going to continue to do, stay focused.
I love the feeling of accomplishment once it's over. I love knowing that I worked hard, and gave my best. But what I love the most is seeing a result no matter how small, it's what keeps me motivated.
