I didn't get into Bodybuilding until my first deployment to Afghanistan in 2011. Until that point, I mostly stayed fit and athletic for ice hockey. I had the opportunity to play around both the U.S. and Canada. Since then, I have become more focused on weightlifting, often having thoughts of entering a show or becoming a physical trainer.
It's awesome. Makes you feel great, makes you look great, relieves stress, there is an abundance of answers I could give, all that really matters though, is that I enjoy it and would much rather defy gravity, getting all sweaty, dirty and ripped, than sit on a couch eating potato chips and watching the latest HBO Drama. Who doesn't want to look good, who doesn't want to be healthy. You can't become fit unless you put in work and dedication, so for everyone who is fit or making the effort, keep up the hard work, keep pushing yourself, keep on keepin' on!
