In my first pregnancy I got up over 300 lbs. I have a bad hip from numerous injuries and could barely walk. My Dr told me I could end up in wheelchair for next pregnancy. I changed my lifestyle, got a personal trainer and got down to 170 lbs. Now baby #2 is 6 months old & I'm working to get fit again...while balancing mom duties, planning my wedding and dealing with my hip problems
I get up in the morning and think I would rather stay home and snuggle with the kids watching a movie but instead I drag myself, my 4.5 yr old and my new baby to the gym. After my workout I feel GREAT! I have to remind myself of that every morning. I also love that I can run and play with my kids when I couldn't before. My kids are learning about healthy lifestyles from the very beginning and I hope that it means they don't struggle with weight or body issues later in. their lives.
