I GOT STARTED IN WORKING OUT SIMPLY BECAUSE I STARTED WORKING AT A GYM. I WAS ALWAYS ATHLETIC GROWING UP BUT IT WAS NEVER A WAY OF LIFE FOR ME. I STARTED WORKING OUT WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF STRUCTURE OR REASONING ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO, I WOULD GO TO WORK AT THE GYM AND I SLOWLY STARTED WORKING WITH WEIGHTS AND CARDIO, BUT IT WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING THAT I DID SPORADICALLY , WHEN I FELT LIKE IT. WHEN I MOVED BACK TO THE WEST COAST, I TRANSFERRED GYMS AND MY SHIFT CHANGED TO THE OPENING. THIS MEANT I WAS NOW COMPLETELY BACKWARD FROM MY PREVIOUS SCHEDULE. I WAS UP AT 2 AM EVERY MORNING TO RIDE THE BUS TO WORK AND OPEN BY 4 AM. NEEDLESS TO SAY I LOST ALL ENERGY TO WORK OUT, SO I DIDN'T. WHEN I DID HAVE ENERGY I WAS SO TIRED OF BEING AT THE GYM FOR 40 HOURS A WEEK TO START WITH I WAS JUST READY TO LEAVE COMPLETELY WHEN MY SHIFT WAS DONE.
I NOW HAVE A NEW JOB, A STEADY SCHEDULE SO I HAVE THE ENERGY AND DRIVE THAT I FEEL I NEED, SO YEAH I'M THE GIRL THAT HAD TO LEAVE THE GYM TO GET MOTIVATED!!! HA HA
I LOVE WORKING OUT BECAUSE I LOVE THE WAY I FEEL WHEN IM FINISHED. I FEEL STRONG AND ACCOMPLISHED. I COME FROM A VERY INACTIVE AND UNHEALTHY FAMILY. THERE ARE ALOT OF HEALTH PROBLEMS THAT RUN IN MY FAMILY INCLUDING WEIGHT ISSUES, CANCERS AND DIABETES SO ITS NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT I CANT AFFORD TO NOT STAY AS HEALTHY AS POSSIBLE.
