I've been working out and trying to stay fit since I was in high school. I got really overweight in High school from not caring what I ate to inactivity.
I went off to college to change myself, academically, physically and mentally. I made gains and reached to the point where I lost the weight but gained no muscle.
Then grad school hit. I tried to maintain with the heavy course load, job and life but my weight gradually climbed. I Graduated with my phd and then a job started.
It's when I took the job that finding time to do life and exercise found all sorts of conflicts and my weight continued to climb with a couple small accomplishments along the way, lost then gained.
It's been 8 years since I started working and now it's time to throw the excuses away and gain the muscle and lose the fat that I have been wanting to lose since early high school!
I'm done playing games of this Rollercoaster body that I have. I want to get fit, be fit and stay fit. I'm not getting any younger and i have given myself a year to do it!
So I will appreciate all the support and motivation I can get from you fine BodySpacers out there to keep me on track! And I will try to do the same for you!
Thanks in advance. I just enrolled in the #250KCHALLENGE starting January 11th, and I am ready to make a change for a lifetime, not just for 12 weeks.
Accomplishing the unexpected, the unbelievable, and the unimaginable is what gets me out of bed and in the gym. Today is a day for change and its time to better yourself now than make excuses and regret and resent all that could have been.
I love working out because it makes me feel like today is no better day than yesterday or tomorrow! It allows me to live the most for today instead of hoping for tomorrow.
