I started when I was 16 and have been on and off for a very long time, I tend to train for a year then lose steam and stop for a year or two. I trained super hard using anabolic steroids in 2005 I got my weight up to 106kg, bench 150kg, Military press 100kg, deadlift 220kg but I stopped after my gym partner passed away, I never used juice again after that.
I started training again in 2009 and got up to the same lifting stats with a body weight of just 90kg, took me about a year of pain to do it but I once again lost motivation.
I started lifting weights again in 2011 and took a different approach by using a 5x5 powerlifting routine, I was incredibly strong for my size of 96kg and I was benching 160kg and arm curling 35kg dumbbells, weird that I could only deadlift 130kg thought. Unfortunately I was pretty chubby and not very impressive without my shirt on.
So at the end of 2012 and after being off gym again for another year I decided that I'm 30 years old now and have had enough of messing around, I started working out at home for a few months and eventually I have joined the gym again, I managed to shed 15kg of blubber and unfortunately some of my strength is gone but I'm feeling that things are going well. I have added a lot more cardio to my training and am finally dieting well, I can almost see my abs and it's been 15 years since I have seen them.
My current training program combines 5x5 training with isolation workouts. I can currently bench 100kg, deadlift 155kg, squat 90kg which is my biggest flaw.
