It all started many, many years ago in High School. I was a sprinter on the track team with two activities I looked forward to at every practice. 1. Hitting the weight room and 2. Sprinting through my 100, 200, and 400 practice runs before leaving the track.
Short distances. Explosive Speed. Bursts of Energy and Training Hard on the Weights! This is my motto.
I love to eat so lifting weight seems more natural to me than starving. So I lift weights so I can pack on the muscles that will help me burn off the calories. :) Plus I love the burning sensation you get right before muscle failure and how quick and easy it is to make gains. There is no motivation better than walking into the gym knowing that today you're going to lift more weights and train harder than you did yesterday!
It's all about getting Better! Stronger! Faster!
The added bonus is being able to see and measure your progress instantly. :)
