I have been working out intensely for about a year, gaining about 20 lbs. of muscle. It was nearly impossible for me to gain an ounce of muscle because I played sports and swam since I was five so my body had a crazy metabolism, I could not eat enough. I was 5�9 weighing 120 lbs. getting �are you anorexic� on a daily basis, it was time for change! My boyfriend altered my diet, adding more protein and changed my workout to more heavy lifting with fewer reps and everything felt like it instantly changed. The weights became lighter and I could start to see growth! This was the beginning of something great for me. Compliments started coming daily; others were noticing my changes also!
I love the results I'm seeing! At first it was very difficult for me to stay motivated, I felt silly trying to lift a weight but forcing myself to keep going everyday made lifting grow into a passion. I am now obsessed, I love going to the gym watching my muscles work and feeling the weight.
