My husband works out, I started years ago when we first got together but never stuck to it. I was always slim and had zero trouble spots. Last time I was somewhat dedicated, was in 2008...It stopped in 2009 when I was promoted at work to manager lol. The stress from work ruined my motivation as I didn't care to do anything when I got home. To put it bluntly... I got lazy! Now it's 2013 and I'm no longer skinny, but more like skinny fat which is awful! Look good in clothing yet not so good naked type of look and I'm not having that anymore. Not to mention I was feeling depressed and had a lot of body aches which made me think something was wrong with me. I decided that maybe it was time to start working out again-I'm glad I did. I started with cardio in March and now mix it with weight training! I already feel 100% better than I did last month. My goal is to lose that extra fat on my belly and thighs and gain muscle. My arms already look good-the definition is coming back and I've lost that thin fatty layer on the outer arm area! (Being petite means the slightest amount of fat is noticeable >.<) I'm looking forward to getting fit again!...May 24/14-Feeling great and happier since 2013! Stronger and more defined but I'm still working on what I want. We are our biggest critics lol March 2016-fit, love it-I have ups and downs with body fat % but it inspires me to eat cleaner. Broken finger in September kept me from lifting and in,out my mojo but have gotten it back since then. November 2017-Still liftand love it. Iâm back to Intermittent fasting this week and changing up my routine to keep me engaged.
