I have been working out on and off for years, but since the only sports I did in High School were running based sports, I focused mainly on cardio and endurance. Then one day I realized that I looked exactly the same as I had for the past five years, and I decided I needed to do something different. I had seen and admired all these huge body builders and with the help of a retired powerlifter I met at the gym, I figured it was time to start taking things more seriously and really make the change from underweight, tall and lanky to healthy and fit muscle man. Shortly after I started working out and actually making progress for the first time, the #250kchallenge came out. I decided to use my competetiveness for good, and it's been gains ever since.
Since I've started working out and getting into bodybuilding, I've noticed drastic changes in my personality and my life in general. I feel more confident about the way I look, I feel better, I feel strong and like I can take on the world! I may not be very big yet, but I notice that my jeans actually fit tighter and I don't have to wear a belt so tight. And if that wasn't enough the extra attention you get from the ladies is icing on the cake! ;D
