My journey began in August 2012 when I ballooned to 20 stone. I had always been pretty active but a new job involving long car drives saw the fitness go out the window and the weight piled on. Within a year I had come down to 15 stone and was pretty chuffed with myself but one day as I stood in the gym I thought to myself 'what happens now'. I was in a rut, I had no future goals and was beginning to lose interest in training. I asked a trainer for his advice and he asked me a simple question 'do you want to tone up or bulk up?'. I had never thought about it like that before. So off I went and spent time reading fitness mags about program's and everything else and it was then I stumbled on Bodybuilding.com and I was back on stable ground. I have goals now and I enjoy the training (except lunges...I detest them). I lost a further stone and dropped 8 inches from my waist.
