When I was younger from ages 8-12; I was a very skinny kid; Extremely athletic and fast, but skinny. In Junior High kids used to always pick on me, smack me around, and treat me like a punk since they knew I wouldn't do anything about it. Then Laugh it off and portray themselves as friends. There were good times...But far more bad times...I hated going to school. It wasn't until my high school days that my body actually started developing a little bit. All I cared about was not getting picked on ever again. So I began playing sports and specialized in running track & field in high school qualifying for State my senior year in Triple Jump. I was a 5'8, very lean 160 lbs when I graduated in 2008 with really strong legs for my size Squat Maxing 365 lbs. I competed in T & F in College qualifying for Nationals and placing 3rd in the Nation for Triple Jump in the NJCAA Division my freshman year 2009 standing @ 5'9 163lbs with a 405 lbs Squat Max.
After track I continued lifting weights for my own pleasure and began bodybuilding seriously with Reggie Hurdle July 8th, 2010 while working & going to school for a Web Design Degree, That I didn't complete from lack of funds. During the spare time while out of school I was able to put more focus into training my body. To my amazement I began to transform unlike I've ever seen myself change in the mirror... I put on 22 lbs and lost 3% bf in 3 months going from 163 to 185.7 lbs. It was the FIRST TIME I FELT like I was In FULL CONTROL Of My Own Outcome...AND DIDN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT WHAT ANYONE THOUGHT OF ME! I went on to compete as my 1st show in Rockford Nov. 13th, 2010 placing 1st as a middle weight @ 175lbs as well as received the Novice Overall Title!

I love the Feeling of the Pump I get during a workout or that Full Body Adrenaline Rush that I get when I Go ALL OUT in the gym. It gives me the feeling of being alive and healthy. It's taught me how to be discipline and how to properly take care of myself and build a relationship/ connection with my body. Ever since I started the Grass in my life has only gotten greener I plan to keep fertilizing it every day with a great workout and good nutrition.
