I was a very active kid. In high school I was into basketball, vollyball, and was on the dance line. I started to go into the high school weightroom and lift alittle. I got my first gym membership when I was 22. I went to the gym but did not really hit it hard until last year when I realized I was very uncomfortable with my body. I love weights and love watching all the others kill it at the gym!
It's been almost 2 years of fighting breast cancer. Between chemo, tests, Dr. appts, and surgery, I had no energy to train like a beast. I was sad that the Doctors would say, take a 5 min walk. My thoughts were: You call that exercise? I'm healing and my new start is now!
Why I Love it
Big time stress reliever and it makes you look great naked! I'm addicted to the endorphines!! I never feel better than being in shape and having muscle without the fat layer!
