I got tired of looking in the mirror and seeing the physique of an adolecent boy...so I decided to start lifting...then I started lifting heavier and more often...finally I started incorporating the whole diet aspect...I still have a loooong way to go...but I like what I see so far
P.S. I started lifting seriously in April of last year...then I suffered a pretty good shoulder injury in Oct. playing bball...so I lost all my weight gains, both in my physique as well as in the gym (I was up to 173 lbs.) I have however, since returning in January, almost reached my strength gains pre-injury...maybe not the weight but if I'm almost as strong as I was now while still almost 10 pounds lighter...then I must be doing something right this time around.
it's euphoric...the feeling I get after an intense lifting session is better than drugs...and I love that I'm challenging myself in ways that alot (dare I say most) people are simply too lazy to. I also cannot wait until the day that people see me and take that shocked second look like "how the hell did you do that?" and I'll just laugh and say "diet and exercise man...diet and exercise."
