I first started lifting weights for only 4 months in an after school program at my jr high school back in the 7th grade. I played volleyball or about 13 years on professional teams and played softball as well. Never touched weights after jr high up until I was about 22 yrs old. That's when I had joined this crazy gym on an island. There was no air conditioning, you had to prop up the windows with wooden boards, and there were huge swarms of mosquitoes. I found a love for weightlifting, but couldn't stand the bug bites. So, I stopped after 1 year there. At the age of 24, I started again at World gym, and did it for about 4 months, moved to Canada and my husband taught me how to properly lift. He motivates me to keep up this lifestyle. I got into great shape within 3 months of training in an at home gym with an Olympic barbell set, weights, bench, and a few dumb bells. I went through the Insanity program, George Saint Pierre program, and fell in love with jogging. I saw amazing results until I had gotten pregnant. I started working out again after the pregnancy and joined the gym in my building. I once again saw amazing results within 3 months of hardcore training, proper nutrition, religious supplement intake, and motivation from the bodyspace community that my husband introduced me to.
