I had gotten started back in High School, however, life changed and my weight became a yoyo through the years. I hit my 40s and I was in really good shape as a road cyclist until about 6 years ago, I ballooned up to 277 lbs., which is a ton of weight to carry at 5'9". I could barely breathe going upstairs. Since I couldn't ride my road bike, I decided to get a mountain bike, I started riding and dropping some of the weight, then I decided to join the gym and getting back to one of my passions. I can't wait to meet my goal.
After a long day at work and the stresses of life, there's nothing better than hitting the iron as hard as possible. I visit bodybuilding.com every night when I get back from the gym and look through the transformations to keep me motivated. I am now 47, but I feel much younger now because of my workouts.
