When I was younger I was always a little small, I have a twin sister and she was taller than me until I was 14! My best friend at the time, dad bought a bench press and put it in his laundry room. Whenever I came over My friend, my sister, his sister and I would always see who could bench the most, at the time my sister was benching about the same as me. From that point I was always pretty addicted I loved hitting new PR's more than anything. Once I had begun high school I was benching around 135 pounds my Freshman year and left high school with the bench record at 345 and was voted most changed most likely because of the new confidence and size that Powerlifting gives. Now at 20 I am benching 400 pounds and I never plan on stopping, "I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul." - William Ernest Henley (Invictus)
Powerlifting has a special place in my heart, it has shaped me in so many ways and has taught me that we all have endless potential if we just choose to harness it. âAll know the way but few actually walk it.â
