Honestly, I went through periods of training and then long (Loooong) breaks in-between. Back in late 2008, I started back up again, and I have been pretty darn consistent ever since. My diet hasn't always been the best, but I am building a foundation of muscle that makes it clear that I enjoy working out.
Why I Love it
This is one area of my life that is entirely within my control. I can train with all my heart and choose the right foods, and results will always follow! I want to be a good role model to my two sons, and a husband that my wife will be proud of. I train first thing in the morning so I don't lose family time, and the side benefit is that I get to feed my muscles all day after breaking them down first thing!
