When I first got into body building I was a wimp. I remember the first time I went to the gym with my squad after I got deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. I weighed about 160 and could barely bench 135lbs without assistance. But with the support of my fellow soldiers and friends, I eased into it and learned new things every day. When I wasn't on mission or fulfilling my operational roles, I was in the gym. Whether it was day or night, I made sure to give it 100% everyday. Once I got back in 2011, I started drinking heavily and smoked even more than I had before. In December of 2011, I got married and just last year in May of 2014 I became a father to my handsome son. Being a husband and a father put a lot of responsibility on my shoulders and my family has helped me to clean my life up. Life has slowed down a lot since I was serving actively in the Army, but I've found my motivation once again and will get back to where I used to be and this time I won't stop! I want to be proud of my body again and be stronger and healthier than I ever have been before.
