I have been an athlete all my life but then having kids and being on bedrest took its toll but then I got back on my workouts. I then lost a very very close family member of mine which sent me into depression and i gain more weight then I did ever being pregnant. I got up to 250lbs, I tried so many different things to lose the weight and nothing was working i would get down to 200lbs and then the weight would start to come back. Finally I met my trainer who was training to be a bodybuilder herself and we worked together and I learned lots about lifting and i fell in love with it and that was in 2010. I still couldn't get past 200 lbs even with the lifestyle change and my new found love of lifting. I then started looking in weight loss surgery and thats when i made the decision to get the lapband surgery which i had done september 1, 2011 and the weight came off slow and i lost 102 lbs in a yr. I was successful with it because i continued on with my weight training and lifestyle change that i already had taken on. I love my new body BUT I want more and long for the physique of the bodybuilders so i am going for it and feel i deserve it!!!!!
