I used to get made fun of a lot in middle school because I was very skinny and awkward. I was always into sports and I enjoyed competition. When one of my best friends started lifting, I decided I would start as well. I could only lift the bar at first, but in time my bench press went up and so did my muscle mass and weight. I became interested in boxing and joined a free gym. The workouts and the cardio were so intense I barely made it through the first month. After 6 months I realized that I was in better shape than most of the people in my high school and my confidence surged. I gained respect and admiration from the same kids who used to make fun of me. Unfortunately, I became involved in bad social habits and stopped lifting. The boxing gym shut down and I no longer had a place to train. I lost everything I had worked for and lost the motivation to live that lifestyle. I soon became depressed and went in a downward spiral for a couple years. It was only until recently when I found Bodybuilding.com and decided to give body building another try. I ordered some mass builder and some Jack3d and have been slowly getting back into it. I'm just hoping I stick to it this time and continue to make good choices and be all that I can be.
I love body building because it is a stress reliever and makes me feel good about myself. I enjoy feeling strong and dominant. I love the confidence I get from having an amazing body and most importantly, I love the attention I get from girls.
