I have always been into working out since middle/high school football. Typically, I would use it to gain strength and mass for the Offensive and Defensive Line. It was until after high school, or my first year of college, where I started to get heavily into alcohol. I continued to workout, and even do my cardio, but it was only being used to maintain. I weighed 230lbs with 23% body fat. As my freshman year progressed, I drank even more until finally, on the very last day of the entire year, I got arrested for a DUI. At this time, I saw it as a turning point in my life, and I decided to start making changes not only in myself, but in my body as well. Starting the day after the arrest, I began a new workout (not bicep curls everyday anymore!), and a new nutritional plan, which definitely excluded all alcohol. Now, after 3/4 of a year has gone by, and I have stuck closer to my new lifestyle as much as possible, the changes are immense. I am now 175lbs and 7% body fat, and hope to do my first natural competition this summer. So to sum it all up, its a frown upside down!
Knowing that I can change what I look like by simple dedication and a change in my diet, I know that others can as well, so I use my life story to help people get motivated about becoming someone they would much rather be.
