I was raised in the child cares of gyms by my mother who was an aerobic instructor and a single mom. When I got old enough to work out I would take her classes and mess around with weights here and there...in my teen years I let myself get led off of the path of health and fitness and got lost in a mess of life difficulties. I slowly would go back to the gym once in a while and found that while I was there and working out, is when I felt best, was happiest, and where my mind was clear..not to mention I looked better;). I have six children and the fitness and a healthy lifestyle has kept me positive, happy, motivated, and eager to be a better me everyday!
Being a mother of six and a wife, I hardly get anytime to myself. In the morning, everyday, I give myself "my" time and go to the gym. I get lost in my music and taking my energy and aggression out in the weight. I love seeing my body respond and react to the excersises that I do. My body is a machine that needs to be revved up an pushed everyday! After "my" time, I'm then able to take care of the house, the kids, and my amazing husband, and do it all with a smile:)
