I originally got started in high school to bulk up for football. Since then I have changed my focus many times, but mainly my goal was to get as big as possible. I never really went about it properly though, and although I got strong, I was neveras big or as defined as I wanted. Recently I finished reading Kris Gethin's Body by Design and it opened my eyes to many things I was doing wrong. This has basically re-started my bodybuilding/working out; but this time with the right tools and a different set of goals.
I love that feeling after a workout, where no matter what is going on in your life you feel positive, accomplished, and better about yourself after a good training session. The release of stress and tension goes well with the ever improving reflection in the mirror, making the struggles of the past hour worth every minute of it.
