I used to be 200lbs and 8% body fat. I raced motorcycles heavily, and was always on the go. I also participated in martial arts. I felt and looked great. A few years ago I had 2 nasty wrecks within a months time. First one was on the race track when someone else couldn't control their bike, the other was coming home from the in-laws and hitting a dear. Both were on bikes. The first one injured my left knee pretty bad, but the second one took it out. I was laid up for what felt like forever, and I gained about 40lbs. After that, it seemed I couldn't get a hold of it, and kept gaining. I went all the way to 275lbs. I felt terrible, and I didn't even have the energy to do what I enjoy most, ride my bikes.
I needed a big change in life. I was always sick, no energy, and just felt terrible. The more I work out, it seems the more of my original self I get back.
