I had some serious weight (128kg). I was prone to diabettes, heart condition, and almost had a heart attack during a simple operation (a broken bone on my ankle that didn't glued well due to my weight). I was a total Couched Potato.
So, I started working out in a plan to get from Sedentary to Active body state. After 3 months, I gained some weight from lean mass and got a good Cardio going on, reaching 134kg.
I finally searched for an endocrinologist and a nutricionist, starting a nice diet. The diet ended 6 months later, with me at 20% body fat (from initial 45%), 90kg, and a new hobbie (Surfing and Gym), all kept until today (since 2010).
So, working out is now my lifestyle. I do it, I eat it, I study it, I play it.
I feel good, and now I feel I'm ready to reach a new level.
I built a personal nutritional and workout plan, which basically aims at building muscles during winter and getting slim during summer (bulk and cut, just the basics).
So, if everything works out, I'll get 5kg thinner (goal at 88kg by June/2013), with less 12-15% body fat, without any crazy starvation diets.
I'm not a youngling anymore, so the slow bulk and cut cycle is a paced slow hobby for me now, with a healthy goal by the end. After all, why should I haste myself if I don't have any other plans for my next 50 years, lol?
