I was always an athlete growing up. Always ran cross country and track. Messed with weights a little back in high school, but didn't do enough to make me motivated. So the only thing I knew was just to do cardio. I was a cardioholic for a couple of years. Then I met my boyfriend and he was the one that really got me into weight training. So for the past 4 1/2 years I've been weight training. I was seeing a lot of progress strength wise and loved the way my body was transforming. I'm hooked! And I now compete in Power Lifting and currently hold Texas Records in both USPA and USAPL in the Women's Raw Open @ 132 lbs. I rank 4th in the U.S. for the USPA and 4th in USAPL. :)
I love working out because I love what I get out of it, I love the results. Once you see progress in either strength or body transformation kind of makes you addicted. I love going into the gym knowing that I'm going to PR in my lifts.
