I got started working out to get in shape after seeing pictures of myself in a bikini last year. I also have goals of running a 5k, mud run, 10k, half and full marathon. (In that order please!) I want to be healthier and teach my daughter the same principles of eating clean and exercise that was lacking in the way that I grew up.
UPDATE 1/7/2016
I have been continuously working out and attempting to eat better. I have made some great strength gains (5 pullups/7 chin ups) "real" pushups 25-30 reps at a time. 5 lbs to 20 pound DD curls, squatting 1.5x my body weight. I have starting to be recognized by my friends as the fitness junkie and I love it. My new goal is to compete in an NPC competition this year. Here's to a lifestyle not just a 90 day plan!
I feel good after a workout and feel stronger, fitter, and healthier. I love seeing before and after pics of others who have transformed their bodies and I want to belong to that club!
