Was introduced to this website after some talk of my interest in wt lifting. I have alwaya been active. Played high school and college ball. Thought I was always in good shape until I joined a group of girls and we began to do some hardcore cardio and wt training. I dropped wt, fit into jeans I never thought possible, and saw a number on the scale I never imagined I would. I fell off the wagon some and am again working to get it back. I want to be competitive in mtn biking this summer and do some running.
I love to work out because it gives me a sense of accomplishment and self worth. The results from being persistant give me confidence in myelf. I choose to workout to keep a healthy lifestyle. I have a family history of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. I don't want to follow that path so I choose to be fit and healthy.
