I have always enjoyed being active from playing outside as a kid which graduated to sports (volleyball & softball) throughout middle school & high school. Even though I loved the competitive edge, they fell down to recreational level, as it does for most, during my college days. I replaced the fitness part with a regular cardio and weight training routine which was really easy being that the university had a really nice/ fancy state of the rec center with just about anything you can imagine! After college, I have continued to try keep staying healthy, active and fit a top priority and goal along with the regular responsibilities & pressures of adulthood. So... Here I am!
Results! Working out does a lot for me. It releases stress from listening & taking on others problems and concerns all day. (I'm a counselor) I like the idea of taking care of myself and preparing myself for a healthy future. Being self-sufficient and able to do the little things independently like open a jar or carry the 50lb bag of dog food to car without looking deformed. Being fit allows me to enjoy life to the fullest & look god doing it.
