I started "bodybuilding" because I wanted to be in great shape and look the part as well. It started in July of 2015 when I watched a movie with Chris Pratt. After seeing his body, I knew I wanted to transform myself. I wanted to start as young as I could because I know it gets tougher when you're older - balancing jobs, college, family, friends etc... It can get tough. I am currently taking a boxing class at a Blackline gym, as well as running at a nearby field with my dog every day. Also, this summer I plan to add a swimming schedule where I will swim a couple miles every week. After finding a way to balance all these, I also plan on going to the gym regularly to train upper body and abs.
I love working out for so many reason. For one, it helps me feel better about myself and my image, which will boost my self confidence. Second, it's to inspire other people to work out, particularly my brother. He wants to get into football into highschool because that's his passion, but he is overweight. So I hope to inspire him with my results, and even dream of taking him on my workout one day! He is very unhappy with his weight, but I won't give up because I want to be a positive role model for him. The last reason is about health and attitude. Working out is a great stress reliever and attitude improver. It helps me get more focused with schooling. Also I know it will pay off in the long run because it will allow me to be healthy, and I won't feel gross after I eat $20 worth of Taco Bell in one sitting and then spend the next 30 minutes on the toilet!
