I've been a slim guy most of my life. I spent 25 years in the military and the physical fitness regimen helped me to gain some weight/mass and stay in reasonably good shape. I am very pleased about that. However, because I never incorporated weight training as a part of it, I never gained the kind of size I really wanted. Now that I'm a retired veteran (and a âfewâ years older since I first joined the military), I have decided that now is the time to dedicate myself to a fitness regimen involving weight training as well as an age-appropriate diet plan. I don't have any specific goals in mind at this time other than gaining at least 5 - 10 pounds of muscle. What I do know is that right now, I want to become as strong and as fit as I can possibly be.
My motto: Success is a journey, not a destination!
I love working out because, quite simply, it makes me feel great! Thanks to having spent over 25 years in the military, I've managed to stay in shape for most of my life. Now that I'm retired, I want to do my best to stay in the best possible shape I can. Since I'm no longer having to relocate every couple of years or so, I can now dedicate time to one gym and construct programs based around that! Fit 4 Life!!!!
