I struggled many years with my body image, I knew I had a good body with potential but not a great body. When I had hit rock bottom with personal issues in my life I turned to fitness. I wanted to better myself inside and out. I'm a former equestrian and rode for over 13 years with no experience in the gym. When I started working out I had to start from the bottom up. Luckily I had a trainer to guide me and help pursue my goals. He later encouraged me to compete. At first I hesitated but after going to watch a couple shows and seeing my body change I knew I had what it takes! I competed in Bikini twice in 2013 both shows in Colorado - The NPC Mile High Championships (1st Novice and 2nd Open) and The NPC Armrbust Pro Gym Warrior Classic (1st Open). 2013 was a great year and I only hope 2014 is even better! Thanks to Loren Weber with Mile High Person Training, LLC in Arvada, Colorado for all your help making dreams come true!
Working out and competing lets me challenge myself in so many different ways. Not just physically but mentally as well. Fitness and competing has given me the opportunity to be confident in my own skin. I'm not scared to get after it in the gym, I love to lift heavy and make the boys look bad! Not only do I love working out but the fitness community around me is very encouraging in a positive way. That makes the sport that much better!
I'm currently the 2014 Colorado State Bikini Champion, I'm sponsored by Supplement Giant Colorado, Mile High Personal Training, and Suit Yourself Posing Suits.
