I started lifting/bodybuilding/working out my sophmore year of highschool 2004 during the off-season. I was a starter on Varsity at D-end but I wasnt strong enough to push guys around. I was quick and agile so I did some damage but that didnt always work out. We got some new coaches and they really got me on the right path to building my body big and strong and I put in the work in effort because I wanted to be the best. I had a pretty good highschool career and during my senior year in highschool I tried out wrestling and got to regionals in 215 my first and only year purely off my raw talent and strength. I also won a few weight lifting competitions when we formed a team towards the end of the year. In highschool I benched 345 squated 450 and dead lifted 550. I walked on to play linebacker at North Eastern Oklahoma A&M a 2 year school (JUCO). I became my strongest I've ever been there but never got the recognition I hoped due to numerous fights with coaches and starting players and so I tried my luck for division 1 ball and tried out at University of CIncinatti in 2008. Around this time I was benching 365 (225x19) squating 575 deadlifting 620 and I maxed my hang cleans at 285! and I ran a 4.68 40. I was favored by the coaches during tryouts but they were looking for safties and I just didnt cut it so after a brief stint there I left and started trying to make it in the real world and refocus my dreams and goals. After football I stopped working out for awhile got a real job and worked 70+ hours a week also trying to help my mother out with paying the rent while she was down and out. I ate fast food all the time and didnt give much thought to my health, weight or fitness. One day I was talking to my father who asked me what I was really doing with my life and what happend to my sense of pride I had while playing football and I dawned on me that I needed to get back to me, I needed to find myself again after football. I moved down to VA to get back on my feet at my dad's and during that time I got back to great shape and actually became a personal trainer. I loved the job but I needed more so I decided to join the Army and I went to basic in 2011. I lost alot of muscle but I got slimmer and better at running. I am almsot two years in now and I am finally on an acceptable schedule to be able to achieve my fitness goals and I wont let myself down this time.
I love working out because it makes me feel positive, it relieves stress and everybody wants to be more fit so it always gives you something to talk about and get to know people's aspirations and ambitious goals better. I WANT TO BE SOMETHING LIKE DWAYNE JOHNSON TYPE BIG AND FIT!
