I started lifting weights shortly after graduating from high school. I was introduced to a personal trainer that challenged me to focus on my personal fitness and health goals as a young adult. Once I've stepped into a gym and learned the different techniques to lifting weights, I was hooked ever sinces then. Yes, I have found myself stopping for a period of time. But, I had to ask myself who is holding me back from reaching my full potential?. Who is keeping me from having the body that I can only imagine obtaining? Why do I allow excuses to interfere? I came to the realization that if I don't like something, then get off of my butt, stop with the excuses and do something about it!
I love lifting weights because I get to see my body transform and it helps me to maintain self discipline when it comes to my personal health. I am less stressed and have a lot more energy throughout the day. I feel so much better health wise and about my self-image. As I continue to lift weights and learn more about being fit, I can share my knowledge and meet new people a long the way.
