In my 30s I started lifting. At the time it was for health reasons and it remains that today. Now in my 40s I'm mindful of what my body tells me and it's a buzz that the body remembers all the movements it used to do.

When COVID wrecked havoc on the world it has made me realise how important and valuable every workout is. The older you get it's so important to care and tend to your body. Working out for me is about health and longevity, and being at peace with what your own body can do.
